Will the upper classes always be apathetic to the conditions of the lower class? Is it human nature or is it simply the natural divisions that occur as people group together by economic class in neighborhoods, etc.

Also most politicians seem apathetic, but that is more by their job.

help 101 asked:

What are your thoughts on the nature versus nurture debate?
Choose one human trait or characteristic (i.e. aggression, humor, beliefs or values, intelligence, etc), and post a discussion about the issue of nature vs. nurture. Be sure to take into consideration concepts in your text: total institutions, resocialization, anticipatory socialization, gender socialization. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the case for socialization and the environment as factors impacting human development and in the development of the human trait you chose?
