I am consuming much less than I used to, shopping less for clothes, driving only when I need to, recycling plastic, newspapers and cans, turning off the tv and lights when not in use. I don’t believe in wasting materials, food or anything else for that matter and I consider myself a tree hugger because I love the environment. What are you doing to help the environment?

Especially with the advent of the machine age this question is more pressing. Is it ok to torture and/or kill other humans or animals? Is it ok to pollute the earth?

Please explain for the benefit of all peoples and nations. This has been an issue throughout the history of mankind. What is responsible human behavior?
