I have to write a paper for an english class…. its over Current events in American or World politics.
the first thing i must do is:
Start with a particular, idea, concept, or statement that is predictive in nature-meaning it describes something a speaker or author believes. And then I have to choose a particular current event from the news to examine the concept or idea chosen.

First off, what are some examples of an idea or statement predictive in nature, and where could i find some? Are they simply opinions and beliefs? Theoretical comments?

  1. Well it’s a weird question in total for an English class!

I guess you can predict an opinion from a voter and follow it through the election? The hard part is the background and explanation while remaining impartial..
