Simple Solar Tracker No Electronics – Following the Sun.
Solar tracker, tracking – but without me nattering over the video this time. CLICK ON THE TIME LINE to move the video on – note the position change as the sun position changes. More on solar trackers. A simple solar tracker based on the idea the if you wire two small solar panels back to back, on to a motor, then if the light shines on one panel, the motor will turn one way, and if it shines on the other, it will turn the other way, add some gears and you have a solar tracker. It the tracker keeps turning away from the sun, reverse the wires to the motor. No electronics required. You may need to fit a solar panel on to the back to pan it back to the morning sun when it’s pointed at the evening sunset position.
